About your Medical Facilitator
My name is Angel Bay. I'm the founder and general director of Angel Bay Medical Tourism Agency. I have over ten years of experience working as a medicalfacilitator. I came into Tijuana, Mexico as a patient. I was born and raised in Costa Rica my native country, but I have lived in the United States where I did all my education and where my passion for medicaltourism started after my own experience traveling to Mexico as a patient. My experience working in the medical industry goes from working with patients pursuing a healthy lifestyle through bariatricsurgery, and other areas of the medical field as plasticsurgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, dermatology and surgical post care. My role is to act as a facilitator and intermediate for patients seeking treatments in Tijuana,
As a Medical Tourism Facilitator, I have an important role in promoting the growth of medical tourism, and for patients represent their first face to face with the experience of medicaltourism.
At this moment I'm earning my CPHQ as a Certified Professional in Health Quality by the NAHQ (National Association for Healthcare Quality)
I'm committed to provide all our patients with an outstanding medical service traveling abroad. Working always with the higher levels of competency with my team of doctors, nurses, staff and accredited medical centers in the city of Tijuana, Baja, California.
I'm looking forward to guide you along the medical tourism process!
Medical Tourism Insurance and financing

Thousands of Americans and Canadians each year undergo medical tourism- the process of traveling to receive medical treatment in a foreign country. Essentially, medical tourism insurance for individuals provides coverage for complications that may occur during the patient’s procedure or during recovery. With all the benefits of medical tourism, there are certain risks as well. While the benefits outweigh the risks for those looking for less expensive medical care, the smart patient will still want to have the added protection of medical travel and complications insurance. In the event of complications, this insurance provides relief from any financial hardship that may be incurred. It is a necessity for anyone considering international medical tourism travel.
